Resident Evil 4 Remake Will Put More of an Emphasis on “Player Choice”

Hello Resident Evil 4 fans! Exciting news has arrived – the highly anticipated remake is on its way and it looks to be an epic game-changer! Although we haven’t seen much yet, we know there will be major alterations made to how the game plays. Capcom has been hard at work modernizing gameplay for both new and returning players alike.

Quick Time Events (QTEs) are no longer part of the game, and its developers have introduced exciting new features that will give players more options. In an interview with Game Informer, Kazunori Kadoi and Yasuhiro Ampo – directors of the game – shared some of these exciting updates.

One major overhaul in the game is a focus on player choice. Players can approach encounters in various ways, including stealthily or with guns blazing. The developers have designed it so enemies won’t always be aware of Leon’s presence, giving players complete freedom to select their own tactics.

If you’re a fan of stealth, the remake includes the “bolt thrower,” which allows Leon to kill enemies without giving away his location. Furthermore, subquests will feature resources that Leon must collect to earn small upgrades for The Merchant; however, we don’t know how in-depth this system is or what rewards players can expect.

Resident Evil 4 Remake promises a lot of changes, but we’ll have to wait and see if they all work out in the end. The game will launch on March 24 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X – mark your calendars now for an exhilarating new experience!
