Although some players in certain regions were able to play Lightfall earlier than anticipated, Bungie had technical issues to fix. Now the company has officially confirmed that Lightfall will be released on February 28, 2023 at 9 AM Pacific Standard Time. To ensure everything runs smoothly, maintenance will begin on February 27, 2023 at 9 AM PST.

With the new expansion, players can expect some changes to in-game mechanics and balancing for raids, strikes, and dungeons. They also get to try out new armor sets as well as subclasses like Berserker, Broodweaver, and Threadrunner.
Destiny 2: Lightfall will be accessible across all platforms, including PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X.
